Library Catalogue
This database contains records for the complete TAC library collection; over 18,000 documents in all. The catalogue includes references to journal articles, conference proceedings, research reports, manuals, guidelines and textbooks covering all facets of surface transportation. The collection includes the publications of all major Canadian transportation agencies as well as many significant international organizations. These include the U.S. Transportation Research Board, AASHTO, the OECD, International Road Federation, U.S. Federal Highway Administration, Australian Road Research Board, and many others.
Borrowing library documents
Library reports may be borrowed by TAC corporate member agencies at no charge. Other Canadian organizations and recognized libraries outside of Canada may borrow library documents for a fee of $25 per item. Photocopies of non-copyrighted journal articles are available for a fee of $10 in Canada and the U.S., or $13 internationally.
To borrow documents that you find in the library catalogue, there is an electronic request form available on our Web site. When you find an item in the catalogue that you would like to borrow, highlight its call number with your mouse, then type <ctrl> C to copy the text. Then paste the call numbers into the Library Loan Request form that is linked from the search results screen, complete the rest of the information required, and submit the form to TAC.
