Conference attendees can now register to attend the 2012 TAC Conference and Exhibition by completing the printable registration form and faxing it to TAC.

Online conference registration including social events, workshops, technical tours and city tours will soon be available.

Only delegates whose payments have been received in full will be granted access to the conference.

Delegates who register by July 10 will qualify for a speedy registrant draw prize!
The draw will take place during the Fredericton conference.

 

Please note that the deadline to register is September 25, midnight, Eastern Standard Time. After that date, delegates wishing to register on site at the Fredericton Convention Centre will pay the $1,020 member or $1,250 non-member on site registration rate.

 

Registration Fee Payments

  • Delegates whose payment has not been received at the time of check-in at the registration desk in Fredericton must pay at that time.
  • Members may choose to pay via cheque, credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) or cash. Non-members registering on site must pay by credit card or cash.
  • The TAC office must receive all registration forms, along with full payment, by July 10 in order for delegates to benefit from early-bird registration fee rates.
  • Registration and other fees are subject to 13% HST.

No payment will result in no access to the conference.

Mail your cheque to TAC (with a copy of your invoice) to the attention of TAC, Accounts Receivable, 2323 St. Laurent Blvd., Ottawa, Ontario K1G 4J8 within 10 business days of your registration.

Refunds: Full refunds of registration and event fees issued until August 15; refunds of 75 percent issued until August 28; no refunds issued after that date. The TAC office must receive refund requests in writing no later than on dates specified.

TAC produces a conference Delegate List including full name, organization and email address which may be provided to delegates, exhibitors and select sponsors. Delegates are asked to consent to be included on the list when registering.

 

JOIN TAC NOW AND SAVE ON REGISTRATION FEES!

 

If your organization does not belong to TAC, consider the conference registration fee savings that would result from a membership in the association. This could total as much as $275 per registrant!

Send in your membership payment before or when registering for the conference and the member rate will apply to your registration fee and to that of any other staff from your organization.

(1) Full registration fees for delegates include admission to all sessions, panel discussions, workshops, delegate tours and the exhibition. Also included are the following special functions: Welcome Reception, Awards Luncheon, Local Showcase, Annual Luncheon, President’s Luncheon and Annual Banquet.

(2) Basic registration fees for delegates include admission to all sessions, panel discussions, workshops, delegate tours, the exhibition, as well as the Local Showcase event. Tickets for any other functions / events may be purchased separately. (See below for individual prices.)

(3)The day registration rate is offered for the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of the conference week. It entitles registrants to attend sessions, panel discussions and workshops, visit the exhibition and participate in delegate tours. The day rate does not provide registrants with any other benefits offered to delegates who pay the full or basic registration fees nor does it cover any of the functions / events. (4) Two registration options are designed to encourage more (full-time) students to attend the conference. Option A is complimentary admission to all sessions, panel discussions and workshops, the exhibition and delegate tours. This offer is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Option A does not provide any other benefits offered to delegates who pay the full or basic registration fees nor does it cover any of the functions / events. (See below for individual prices.) Option B is a full registration as described in (1) above.

To take advantage of either option A or B, registrants must email conference@tac-atc.ca or fax (613-736-1395) the name of the academic institution that they are attending and their student identification number. They must also attach a copy of their student ID.

Student registrations cannot be submitted online (mail or fax only).

(5) Registration for the companion program covers the Fredericton city tour (Sunday), Welcome Reception, Local Showcase and Annual Banquet. Also included are day trips identified in the Companion Program.

(6) Registration and other fees are subject to 13% HST.
